The meeting will be held under the auspices of the Deutsche Akademie der Naturforscher Leopoldina and the European Society for Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases and will be hosted by the Robert Koch Institute.
The meeting is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the decease of Robert Koch (1843 – 1910).
The meeting will focus on the great opportunities for translational research in the field of molecular epidemiology offered by the current progress in genome analysis and functional genomics.
