We will provide bus transfer for IMMEM participants from Hanover airport to the conference venue. Preliminary transfer times will be:

Wednesday, 1.09., 12:30 h and 16:30 h. Please go to Terminal A and check bus signs. Wait for further information on this website or provided by email for all registered participants.
Please provide your flight schedules as soon as you know them to help us arranging a suitable transfer Hanover-Wernigerode for all listed attendants.

After the conference (Sept 4th, 13:00 h) bus transfer to Hanover airport will be provided. Please wait for further information.

Individually, Wernigerode could be reached by public transport / trains.

Reaching Wernigerode individually

Best way from neighbouring airports is via public transport and by train (Deutsche Bahn). Connections are accessible online (check language from the pull down menu in the top row). In Wernigerode, the conference venue or alternative hotels are in walking distance (5-10 min) from the main train station (see below)

Reaching Wernigerode from Berlin by bus

There is a direct bus line from Berlin Ostbahnhof to Wernigerode main train station (Berlin Express); however, only available once or a few times per day.
